Good morning

Just made this liver pate and then I had some eggs and bacon for breakfast. Now im gonna go through yesterday's tourneys and do some studying!
Tomorrow me and Pauline will play SM in poker for women!excited!
The lazy days finally came to an end as I dragged myself out of bed before 10 this morning.have a coffee planned with my cousin today and then poker for the rest. I will have to stay in Malmö until middle of November,got a time at the doctor the 13th.Finally I will get an answer to what is wrong with me.My boyfriend will come in less then 10 days to spend some time with me,which I'm very happy for:)Life looks pretty good at the moment.Now I will zip on my tea and watch another episode of the vampire diaries.

hey!I had a hell of a night with migraine and no sleep,woke up a couple of times this morning by the exceptional pain but fell asleep eventually.So I'm not 100% today and will play a little poker later on tonight.I did some yoga to reduce stress and pain and it helped a little,a big recommend for everyone out there suffering from pain and lack of sleep.Yesterday I had a good poker day,actually the best in many months.Think it's due to my leak buster mission I have been having for a couple of days...been sitting after sessions and before session just figuring out why my game been going slow lately.hopefully this will be a huge improvement for me and not a one time luck:)


This morning we got our lazy asses to the gym and signed up for two months. This means yoga two times a week, cardio 3 times and the rest will consist of strength training. Oh yeah, imma build some muscle! Now I just had some leftovers from yesterday (the paleo pasta was delicious, I'm definitely cooking that again) and now it's poker-time!

Da cuocere!

To make up for my PMS-mood i'm gonna cook a nice dinner for my man, this is on tonight's menu. I have already prepared a homemade tomato sauce that's been cooking for 2 hours, it smells amazing. After work i'm gonna pour myself a glass of red wine, light some candles and put on some loud Italian music- creating a nice environment makes cooking much more enjoyable, at times it's almost therapeutic.

Just accidentally folded QQ in a really important spot (4 people left at a final table) and 2 players behind me had JJ  and AJ so I knew I would have gotten my stack in and be in a nice position to take home the tourney.. Incredibly tilting!! When something goes wrong and bad energy develops it becomes a vicious circle and I just tilt even more and make even more mistakes. To prevent that I usually put on some calming music and applaud myself for every good play I make to create good energy and positive thinking.

yesterdays lunch

As I wrote earlier we did a quick stop in GBG and ate lunch.The daughter of my mums husband joined us with her boyfriend and we had a nice lunch.I ate pork fillet with vegetables and blue cheese sauce.It's easy to do and delicious if you want to have something medium fancy a sunday:) Just fry the meat and use the juice to do the sauce,mix cream and blue cheese and herbs. Fry vegetables of your choice,I ate aubergine, peppers and onion.

been in the car the whole day except a quick stop for lunch in Gothenburg.I'm tired but have a poker gut feeling that I should be playing today...so I will listen to my gut feeling and play!after all it's sunday!

That time of the month

It's just that time of the month, you're swollen, irritated, zits pop up, you can't watch sad movies/documentaries cuz you'll cry like a baby, downswings (losing streaks in poker)feel like the end of the world, abdominal pain. Yeah this nasty thing called pms is what we girls have to deal a couple of days every month. Luckily my bf has discovered a way do decrease the symptoms a little, it's called chocolate <3

Ah that hour at the beach was nice! Now I just had breakfast/lunch- brunch? (coconut milk with nuts and berries) and it's time to start the workday.

It was a struggle to wake up this morning,with a lack of sleep due to a lot of poker issues in my head.Yesterday we joked about the time change, that no one will ever forget that we changing into wintertime because every lazy ass wants an extra hour of sleep.But of-course eventually I woke up 1 hour before the actual time and thought I was in time totally forgotten about the hour of change:)so thereby I have an extra hour before I will leave to Malmö,I'm spending it with coffee and the vampire diaries!
Tonight I will play poker,it's sunday funday!beso

Cravings and party

I've been craving lamb for a while so I did the only right thing, grilled up some lamb skewers and tomato. It's saturday evening and i've been working my ass off this week so I'm gonna treat myself with some wine as well. Tonight im invited to a Halloween party so we'll see if I'll go, the more wine I have the more the chances of partying increase ;)

Last Halloween I was an Indian dancer (I have no memory at all of hugging that penguin, I swear we did not hook up though!)


I just realized it's the weekend of Halloween..it makes me think of our first Halloween in USA 5 years ago.I was living in California and Pauline came and visit me during her school break. We had 2 amazing weeks with a lot of quality time that we never really had time for before. In Usa we made a promise to each other,that we should always stick together no matter what. And ever since that day we been inseparable:)Here we are dressed as tinkerbell and little red riding hood...a special night in deed,no Pauline;)?kiss
Just had a huge breakfast and now it's poker time!

Bom dia!

Egg sandwiches, bullet coffee and poker video, my type of morning!
I lay awake,torn by my feelings.In one way each passing night bring me closer to see him again on the other hand it's another lonely night thinking of him. Our relationship is now based on email,messages,Skype all technology..it's not easy,and no one ever said it would be,especially if you fall in love with someone miles away. Right now I hate the fact that I can't be with him,not even able to kiss him goodnight. Then again everything is forgotten when I see him and I forget these hard days not having  each other near.A person asked me if it's really worth it,that it looked like I was suffering. I do suffer and damn it hurts but Yes it's worth every second.And I know that soon we will be together for a very long time...but sometimes you wish the time went a little bit faster.

Bf got really sick last night and threw up, we suspect it's some kind of flu. I'm feeling a bit ill as well, I have a pretty good immune system though so I don't think it's gonna get worse than this. I made some nice lunch, (hamburger without bread) and now it's grinding time!
yesterday me and my brother had a chilled evening,eating food and watching movies. We tried to watch the old favourite alien but it was not as cool as it used to be when we where kids. Instead I fell a sleep quite early and I think Niclas went to sleep early morning..
This morning I ate egg,bacon,sausage and cheese for breakfast and now just started grinding!

hey sweden

I'm back in Sweden,my brother just picked me up at the train station and now we are cooking some food.After 2 weeks of kissing,cuddling,eating and laughing with my boyfriend I'm back alone in this cold country.Thank god I have my brother here,although we wont spend so much time together as I was hoping.Right now my head is a bit melted from the long trip and sleep deprivation.But I want to explain the reason why I had to go back to Sweden and why I been a bit off and tired lately. As many of you know I been complaining about my weight and not feeling 100%I did a random check-up at my hospital and it turns out that everything not is 100%. So tomorrow I have 20 different test I need to do with different blood analysis and hopefully then we will find out what's wrong with me. Right now I just want to get it over with and hopefully it's nothing but anyhow,that's what's going on here.So, on Sunday I'm going to Malmö where the specialist doctor is. After that I can go back and play poker with my brother again and give 100%,right now I just feel like drinking tea and feeling sorry for myself:)But no,of course I will play some tournaments,I'm a workaholic!well that was all from me,here is a pic one from the weekend a friend of my bf took...:)

Omega 3 boost

You know I love food and to cook but during the days I'm so rapt up with poker i don't eat as much as i should. Thank god I have a wonderful bf that feeds me :) yesterday we had some paleo friendly fast food, the sushi here is amazing!

Poker poker poker

Still in the study-flow, been having revelations big time! I think I have gone through about 14 tournaments hand by hand too see every spot I missed a play, made a bad read or miscalculated odds. I have made about 30 notes on players, found so many tendencies (especially regs) and I'm just mad at myself for getting lazy and loosing focus (screw you Facebook!). And watching TED talks while 4 tabling ?! I'm gonna continue with less tables today as well and hopefully learn a lot. These past days I have probably learned more than I have the past 3 months.

Powerwalk and Italian

Wasn't able to bring him to the yoga, as expected. Instead I went for a powerwalk and now it's breakfast time! I've been craving Italian food for a while so Im having coconut bread with butter, topped with a loot of pesto and some sun dried tomatoes.

live play and last days

good morning from Holland,although it's 14.00 I'm still in bed. I will just play 4 tourneys today,we are going to N parents to have a dinner later on.Tomorrow I'm going back to Sweden,the days here goes too fast and I have no will at all too leave this place yet.Yesterday we decided to play a freezeout they held at the casino here in Eindhoven. We paid 110 euro each and there was 59 persons participating. It was Niels first time playing live and although my best advices he got nervous when they moved him to my table and was kicked out after 5 hands...me on the other hand just got kicked out on the bubble for the final table..which sucked big times.Also by the same guy that kicked me out last time I played this freezeout in Eindhoven,you can imagine his happy face haha...
The weather here is great and it don't feel a bit like autumn.This is the view from my bedroom window right now:)


Having bullet coffee as usual and now I'm gonna watch a poker video. Yesterday I had few tables and I really feel like I'm learning a lot studying and working this way, I'm gonna keep it up until poker is going really good again. It probably decreases my hourly rate but I don't care, I'm getting a lot better and it's more fun.

In an hour there's a yoga class, I'm trying to convince my man to go with me. Yesterday he thought it seemed like a great idea, but today, instead of the happy snappy "Vamos a la yoga!" I was hoping for, I'm getting the "Uhh I'm soo tired, ehh you are beautiful". Obviously he's trying to smooth-talk his way out of it. I'll show him some inspirational photos and we'll see if he can resist..
